Excellent Fish and Chips! Portions are generous, coffee is good, prices are fair. All in all would definitely recommend!
Second time dining at this place. The appetizer "Grande Nachos" are indeed as large as the name suggests - possibly a meal in itself. Nice level of toppings and cheese. Quite tasty.The deep fried pierogie appetizer was tasty as well, but be warned they come out like lava in the center and take a while to cool down.As for the steak: hands down the best steak I've had in years including places like The Keg. Tender and cooked perfectly; juicy in every bite, and within normal steak prices.My only complained with the steak was that the Steak Neptune's sauce was weird. It had a little bit of seafood in it, but also had pasta(?) I've never had a steak neptune that has had pasta, and that little of seafood on it. Also, the seafood that was mixed in appeared to be imitation crab (going by the look). I'm personally used to shrimp or lobster with it.Soup was pretty good, even though I'm not a soup person.
I went for lunch over a decade ago and i went again recently. I don't think that the menu has really changed in that time. The servings are quite generous and the service is polite and prompt. This is exactly what i want when visiting a diner in small town Alberta. This place is great.
Always great food for many years! Great service and prices are excellent for the quality!Oh and the chicken souvlaki is hands down the best!!!
