We went to visit a while back for my Grandmother's funeral. The staff are incredibly hard working and kind. The breakfast nook is excellent and has a rather large array of breakfast options. The in-house store is stocked with a decent selection of things, as well as pet food and amenities for your pets. They also offer rooms for people with pets that they had accompany them on their travels. Definitely the best Inn in Vegreville hands down.
Stayed here during the 2018 Vegreville Fair and it was an awesome hotel to stay at. We checked in on the Wednesday and they had customer appreciation night from 5-7pm. They had FREE pizza, wings, beer, wine and even dessert. The next 3 mornings we enjoyed a hot breakfast. Our room had 2 queen size beds with a full size kitchen, it even had a dishwasher. The staff are magnificent. The front desk lady, Dalene(I believe was her name) would address me by my first name when ever she saw me. The only thing that sucked was their pool and hot tub are broken down. We were really looking forward to using the facilities in the evening after a long day at the fair. If youre looking for a great hotel to stay at, pick the Pomeroy in Vegreville!!
Room was more than adequate for our meeting, there was breakfast and drinks laid out for us as well. the staff were nice, i've no complaints
Couldn't find WiFi code got bit by bed bugs NOT IMPRESSED on my fist visit in the hotel in this town. Was booked in a room with 3 beds. I slept in the middle bed. Room was booked by Co worker hence why my name is not in the registry. I was not explained the WiFi code maybe a clerical error. But he facts are I have major bites.
You know - prairie town hotel with a lean to the big city feel - generous continental breakfast, nicely priced rooms. Don't look for or expect anything different from whats offered regarding service...but what's there is fine 90% of the time.
